Bread Inequality-Pita

No, not the phony income inequality stuff barry is always talking about in yet another attempt to divide Americans. This one is real. This one was a crisis. I was out of Pita bread and I NEEDED it to make my lunch to take to work. Walmart usually has Pita bread back in the deli section but this time no luck. Here I was with a tub full of yummy roasted red pepper hummus and no Pita bread. I went to the bakery section, 4,329 kinds of tortilla, burrito, taco, tostito, superdito, expidito, wrappers. I mean PILES of them, TONS of them. Enough to open your own restaurant. I resumed my search for Pita bread, thinking this should be easy, this was on Tuesday, which was Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence day. I couldn’t find Pita. Back to deli where I asked a lady and she told me I had to go to bakery and ask for it, they would bring it out. I’m thinking, um, while I’m not in marketing this seems like a bad marketing plan to me. Why not just put it out with the 4,329 kinds of Mexican bread stuffs? Then people could BUY it. But I did as she said, found someone in produce and asked. She went and got a gal from inside the bakery, she said they were out. OUT? It’s Yom Ha’atzmaut, HOW can you be out of Pita? Apparently Israel’s Independence day doesn’t rank in the Walmart marketing mind the same as a holiday made famous by beer companies. Now there was a battle in Mexico on that day when the Mexicans kept the French from helping the Confederacy in the Civil War, but they don’t even celebrate this holiday in Mexico that much. Beer companies in the 80s made it very popular in the states. Weird, huh?

Not only Walmart gives Israelis a hard time. So does Newsweek magazine. In what I would call a hit piece they claim a congressional staffer said Israel’s spying on the US “very sobering…alarming…even terrifying.” Another staffer called it “damaging.” I guess I wonder WHAT are they spying on? How barry is going to pressure them next to give up the land that is their birthright? How much can they give away? They have given away land more than once trying to gain peace, and it just never seems to work. I guess I wonder what does G_d think of them giving away the land he gave them, and what does he think about nations that pressure them to do so again? The Israelis are plenty tech savvy enough on their own, I can’t imagine what they would need to spy on US to gain. Yes indeedy, I do love my cell phone, thank you Israelis.

The hit piece also pointed out Israel wanted to be on the list of nations that their citizens don’t need a visa to visit the US. Probably the same helpful “congressional staffer” gave some BS reasons why that wouldn’t happen and claimed Israel hadn’t done anything to get on the list. They seemed very worried about Israelis coming into the country. If it weren’t so ludicrous it would be funny. I mean really, was it Israelis who flew planes into our Twin Towers and the Pentagon? Israelis who shot up Fort Hood, either time? Was it Israelis who set off bombs at the Boston Marathon? Israelis who are sneaking across the Southern border and running drugs, signing up and getting welfare and obamacare benefits WE pay for? Um, NO! Nope, THAT lot barry and biden want to give amnesty to, and make sure they vote. To be fair, bohner wants to give amnesty as well.

Somehow, I can’t see the Israelis threatening violence against anyone wearing an American Flag t-shirt on Yom Ha’atzmaut. If all of our countries problems were as “terrifying”, I wouldn’t be so terrified.

Say, didn’t I hear Newsweek is going out of print? With solid “journalism” like that, I can’t see why, can you?

The Transparent Tortoise

So the BLM, Bureau of Land Management, swooped in to save the “endangered” desert tortoise from the Bundy herd of “killer cattle”.

So, when have you seen an army of 200 agents armed to the teeth, with automatic weapons, helicopters, tasers and attack dogs show up to defend an endangered species? Which is pretty darned interesting considering the Feds killed off a few hundred of them last year, and plan to kill off more. And then crushed a burrow of them during the rustling of Cliven Bundy’s cattle. Good thing the BLM is made up professionals that are familiar with the animals they are dealing with and the land they live on. Except they aren’t. They aren’t any of those things. They aren’t professional, they tasered protesters, they unleashed attack dogs on a pregnant woman, arrested and held a Bundy son overnight, I don’t believe they ever said what for. Hit one of the Bundy women with a vehicle and threw her to the ground. As the story grew bigger people poured in from all over the country. More media showed up, as Judge Andrew Napolitano pointed out, it was becoming a public relations nightmare. He also pointed something else very interesting out. Bundy lost his court case in Federal court. In Judge Napolitano’s opinion, this should have been tried in a Nevada State court. This is like having two 4 year old siblings, one gets to cut the last piece chocolate cake and make two slices, he get to decide it they are equal and he get to pick the first piece. Of course they are (most likely) going to decide fairly, right? Actually, you have a better chance with the four year olds than the federal government!

So the Feds go in, steal the cattle and hire some “contract cowboy” out of Utah to help steal the cattle and transport them across state lines to Utah and sell them. EXCEPT here is what happened. The federal government hires a contract cowboy (cost to taxpayers to steal the Bundy cattle $966,000, what the Bundy’s supposedly owe is $1.1 million) who is to go in, steal the cattle and are supposed to sell them to cover the fees owed. Now as I’ve read a couple places Bundy has been paying fees to the state & county. He feels the federal government is trying to put him out of business. Just because he’s the last rancher in Clark County, I don’t know why he feels that way, but he does. So it kind of looks like the federal claims of attempt to recovery money owed and protection of the desert tortoise could be, a, GASP, LIE!! Or, it’s like the government is run by someone who has no clue of finances, balancing books, or is just flat power drunk, like a community organizer. They have no clue how to run a business.

Now let’s look at how they “care for the land and they animals” they were suppose to sell for a profit to recover the cost of the grazing fees. They killed two prized bulls for fear they would “gore the horses and were dangerous”. Ok, valid fear, except at least one was in a pen and was shot five times. They destroyed stock tanks, corrals, fence and killed or have lost about a third of the animals they stole. Excellent documentation on this can be found here. It also points out the Governor of Utah forbid the cattle to come into Nevada, and the Nevada and Utah stock yards wanted nothing to do with selling stolen cattle. Be sure to listen to the video, as it points out the BLM wanted to “restore the land”.

So the BLM, the snipers and attack dogs have all pulled out. Is it over? According to NRA endorsed Sen. Harry Reid, no. Now while many politicians in Nevada have come out in support of Cliven Bundy, old Harry has been rather silent. Wonder why? Well, by now you probably have heard much of this. Darn it, I’ve really got to get one computer operating system installed and leave it! It’s putting me way behind on my current events here!

“Well, it’s not over,” he said. “We can’t have, in America, people that violate the law and just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”~~NRA endorsed Sen. Harry Reid. Unless of course it’s Barry Sot, Barry Oba,..Barak Obama (whatever it is this week), Eric Holder, Lois Lerner, Kathy Sebelliousnous (whatever), then we can.

Turns out ol’ NRA endorsed Sen. Harry has his fingers in a LOT of cow pies. He has been lobbying the BLM (bureau of land mis-management) to re-map the Desert Tortoise’s habitat to allow real estate mogul Harvey Whittemore to build on land near the Bundy’s ranch. You may have heard the name Whittemore, he was convicted of making illegal campaign contributions to NRA endorsed Sen. Harry.

Sen. Harry, never one to leave things to chance recently had one of his senior advisor’s, Neil Kornze, appointed to the head of the BLM. Why YES, the term “stacked deck” occurred to ME too!

Well, many cowpies, so what else? Turns out the BLM makes MILLIONS by leasing Nevada lands for energy exploration and fracking. This image is from the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology and shows drilling in the Gold Butte area where Cliven Bundy runs his cattle operation. So you can see why the BLM is so concerned about restoring the land to it’s proper condition by destroying water tanks, corrals, and killing the cattle so Rancher Bundy couldn’t resume his “illegal cattle operation”. No indeedy, they got $1.27 million for some leases to six different energy companies. That makes what Cliven Bundy supposedly owes pale in comparison, doesn’t it?

What other cowpies? Well, remember Bundy is the last rancher in Clark Co. Now it seems when Harry’s son Rory was a Clark Co. commissioner, (like the one who said out of state protesters coming to Nevada to support the Bundys should have funeral plans made) Rory convinced the county to sell 9,000 acres at well below market value to Chinese energy giant ENN Energy Group. They also want to use federal lands to build a solar farm, because one Solyndra is never enough. And the Bundy land just happens to be under consideration by the Chinese company.

So, NRA endorsed Sen. Harry Reid’s son Rory is representing the Chinese Solyndra who will be building the turbines and solar panels in China, and shipping them to the US, and who convinced his county to sell land below market value to the Chinese. Sen. Harry Reid is also promoting the Chinese company.

So NRA endorsed Sen. Harry Reid & his son are using the force of the federal government to shove an American Rancher, who provides beef to Americans at a time when beef prices are highest and supply is lowest since 1951 off his land.

As I’ve said before, what a great way to control a population, hunger.

YOUR tax dollars at work folks, MY tax dollars at work. Will congress critters protect the folks they are sent to DC to serve from the federal government? Will we hold them accountable? Or are they just so flat clueless they don’t even see how it applies?

Like many “transparent” things in the obama regime, the tortoise is not only transparent, it’s almost invisible.

Range Wars

There’s a storm a brewin’. A 67 year old rancher by the name of Cliven Bundy and his family consisting of 14 children and his wife seem to have always lived the simple, though far from easy life of a Rancher in Clark Co. Nevada. The basics of what is going on are pretty well out there on different web sites, but a quick run down is in 1993 Bundy stopped paying his grazing fees of $1.35 per animal unit month on the federal land. He claims that his family has used land in the 600,000-acre Gold Butte area since the late 1800s. I guess it would be hard not to graze on federal land since the federal government owns about 660 million acres across the United States, including one out of every two acres in the West.As best as I can gather from the news stories, Mr. Bundy quit paying the fees in 1993 for ranch land run by his family for a century or so. He runs about 900 head of cattle. One comment I read on a Cattleman’s web site says he is still paying the state of Nevada fees, but “fired” the BLM and quit paying their fees when he said he figured out they wanted to put him out of business. Could be right, Mr. Bundy is the last rancher in Clark County.

It seems this whole mess started over a desert tortoise. Now I like turtles, the little green ones kids used to have as pets, and when I was younger I’ve had a few box turtles as pets, but this is typical government left wing craziness. Beef prices are at an all time high, and aren’t expected to come down. The supply of beef cattle is about at the level of 1951 when America had about half as many people. So why would the government want to make it harder for ranchers? I’ll come back to that.

So far local politicians have only spoken, but not gotten involved. The local Sheriff has declined to take part in the cattle rustling, or allow his deputies to be commandeered. A Clark Co. commissioner, Tom Collins, doesn’t believe the BLM’s argument that it’s trying to protect the desert tortoise.

“The U.S. government has perpetrated a bigger fraud on people over those tortoises than Al Capone did selling swampland in Miami,” he said.

Collins added that Nevada officials are studying whether to petition the federal government for local control over a wide swath of land that includes the area Bundy is fighting over. Seems like all states should be starting to look at state sovereignty legislation. Missouri had the feds wanting to take over waterways in Southern Missouri, and Kansas maybe facing what Nevada is over the prairie chicken.

What an equally big story is to me is the federal government’s response. While they dither and dally about investigating “Fast & Furious” “Benghazi” no action has been taken towards law-breakers Lois Lerner or Eric Holder, the government has sent around 200 agents from the BLM and FBI including snipers to rustle cattle. Perhaps not content with merely shooting one un-armed woman holding her baby in the head (do a search on Vickie Weaver and Ruby Ridge) they are looking to flex their federal muscle again. They are patrolling the Bundy’s 150 acre ranch. According to the Bundy family they are armed with everything but rocket launchers. They said their ranch is surrounded, and roads are blocked. One son was attacked by the BLM, they set dogs on him, tasered him, beat him and detained him over night. His crime? Standing along side a PUBLIC highway filming the cattle as they grazed. They are perfectly willing to do this to anyone. This is MY tax money, YOUR tax money being spent to attack citizens protesting a man’s cattle from being stolen. It is costing 3 MILLION of OUR tax dollars to steal this man’s cattle. They are willing to set dogs on you, taser you, shoot you. They have set up “First Amendment” zones where citizens are allowed to be. You are not allowed to be any place else on PUBLIC land but where the BLM says you can be to film them stealing the cattle or attacking other citizens. The Governor of Nevada is very upset about the “First Amendment Zones”. Set far enough away people can’t film them stealing the cattle. If I were the Governor I’d be upset about my citizens being attacked to, but that’s just me.

Cliven Bundy’s daughter Bailey Bundy Logue had a very accurate comment on all this:

“Wake up America. Look what our ancestors fought for and we need to stand up for that. We need to realize what’s happening. They are taking everything away from us. This isn’t only about one family. This is about everyone’s family. This is martial law and it’s in America and so what are you going to do to have it stay out of America?”

Who knows what’s going to happen to the cattle. The BLM has brought in a dump truck, the idiots have separated some of the cows from their calves so the calves with die. The BLM spokesperson denied the BLM was killing cattle on purpose. Oh, well then.

The thing is, this isn’t the first time this administration has interfered in a big way with the food raising process. From 2009.

So remember the question I asked earlier? Why would the government want to make it harder for ranchers to raise food to feed hungry people? What about control? Look at what they are willing to do to the people protesting the theft of Cliven Bundy’s cattle? Set dogs on them, taser them, shoot them. They are very into control. Silence dissent by using the IRS, using your healthcare to control people. What parent won’t do almost anything the government says when their child looks up at them and says “Mom, Dad, I’m hungry”.

So is this the government plan? I don’t know. I DO know your tax dollars are being spent along with mine on this outrage, have you called your congresscritter today and demanded they STOP wasting your tax dollars, money the government doesn’t have (will China loan money for the government’s cattle rustling operation?) to perpetrate this atrocity!

Moochelle O-Super Bossy Nanny

While I used to tend to think of Nannies as nice things, like Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins, or perhaps Maria in the Sound of Music, or Nanny McPhee even, I don’t anymore. I think of them as ragin’ liberals like Mikey Bloomberg who is determined that you are NOT to have the drink of your choice. Oh, liquor? Fine, just no soda pop of 32 oz. I am still astonished people vote for this piece of chewing gum on the bottom of a shoe. Not sure how many mayors have dropped out of his mayors against illegal (or legal) guns, but when some of them found out it was a sham, they departed. I also think he has cost a few candidates their race. GOOD deal! Finally a use for Mikey, if Mikey likes it (as in the old Life cereal commercial) then the candidate probably stinks. A lot.

Speaking of breakfast cereal, it seems some of the Major league popular breakfast cereals have caught on to Moochelle’s game plan. Ban for you, what she thinks is bad, now what she and her brood eat has nothing to do with that. Don’t you understand? They are “special”, can you say “elitist”? I KNEW you could!

Now, a couple things I would REALLLY REEEEEEAAAALLLLY like to know, why does ANYONE listen to this moonbat? I mean the “Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010” was SUCH, a winner, er, or was that wiener? Nope, no wiener, that would be processed meat. Sort of. The kids HATED it, they hated the food Moochelle wanted them to eat, they hated that they were still hungry, AND if you read the opening section, it didn’t even contain enough calories. What does it say when the kids and the teachers work together to create a video like this? And parents let their kids suffer in public indoctrination cent, er I mean, um school? Oh, right, some schools no longer allow children to bring their lunches, I mean after all, raising them can’t be left to the parents, it must be up to Moochelle!

So, you ask, why do I call her Moochelle? Well, ever looked at how many taxpayer funded trips she and the rug rats take? I mean, I guess they aren’t her rug rats when she’s paying them as Senior staff right? What was that Mooch said about somebody having to give up a piece of their pie so someone else could have more? Yet, I don’t see the obamas giving up any of their pie, in fact they seem to be like the school yard bully stealing more from the other kids. And now she heads off to China, ~~rug rats and her Mom~~, um staffers in tow. What I want to know, is WHY do the taxpayers have to foot the bill? How about Congress man up, or woman up, or sic Sarah Palin on them if they are afraid, and tell them you get two weeks vacation per year. That’s it. We pay you enough (too much). Sarah Palin sold the Alaskan Governor’s private jet on eBay. She could sort the obamas and tell them the taxpayers can’t afford it. They are going to have to give up a piece of their “pie” so the rest of us can afford beans. You know, I asked my Representative that question, why can’t you limit them to two weeks, like the rest of us mere subjects get? Never did get an answer. We need politicians with more principles and spine!

In The Hedgerow

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Instead of talking about St. Patrick and snakes, let’s talk about freedom from snakes, ok?

Imagine a country where you are: forbidden the exercise the religion of your choice; Forbidden to receive education, or to be educated at the school of your choice; Forbidden from entering a profession if you have conservative values; Forbidden from holding public office; Forbidden to engage in trade or commerce; Forbidden to own a car of greater value than five hundred dollars; Forbidden to purchase or lease land; Forbidden to vote because of your beliefs; Forbidden to keep any arms for your protection. You could not be guardian to a child, or educate your own child. It was against the law to celebrate your heritage and history. Symbols and rituals that you and your family held dear were now illegal (if they were the wrong “kind “).

Picture driving down the highway with your teenage son who has worked for 5 years on a classic car he got from the junkyard. He bit by bit worked and bought parts for it till it was restored and it is now not only drivable, but beautiful. The boy has 400 dollars and 10 pounds of sweat and labor in it. He has learned the value and rewards of hard work. As you are out on your first ride together in it, you are stopped by a person loyal to the power party. The person offers $500 for it, because he likes the car. It is worth a lot more, and your son doesn’t want to sell it. One of two things happens, you sell it, because you aren’t allowed to own a vehicle worth more than $500, or you protest and get whapped on however much the “power party person” decides is appropriate. To fight back is a crime. A hate crime with double penalty.

A few years later a “civilian security force” is established. The regular law enforcement agencies have trouble keeping tabs on everyone. There are so many laws that someone might get by with breaking one, so a civilian security force has been the answer. Sometimes they are able to get valuable information about crimes that haven’t happened yet by terrorizing someone that might know something or someone and they can get them to give them information. They have also found that getting people to turn in their fellow citizens is a good way to stay on top of things. Sometimes they have found it helpful to terrorize regular civilians by burning their houses down, beating some to death or torture. Not water boarding, the real deal. Besides, they find it an enjoyable pastime. You might get lucky and find a civilian speaking a forbidden language or idea, and then you have justification for it. This “civilian security force” was established to keep liberty minded people from thinking evil thoughts, such as liberty, freedom, justice.

This is a world of FROM each according to his ability to each according to their connections with someone in power, or their willingness to tow the party line. It makes sure that average citizens can not meet together in a large group; they might start to talk about what could be done to improve their lot, so things such as sporting events are rare. Then there was that nasty episode where the “civilian security force” and some specially “imported police” shot a group of people at a football game. They were sure that there were people that had been working to free citizens from governmental tyranny there. Shame about all those civilians that got killed and they didn’t actually catch one “liberty ” person there. OOPS! Talk about a faux pas!

So, do you think I’m looking into the unchecked future of obamanation here? Well, I’m hoping it’s not, but I suppose it could be. Actually, all these things and more have already happened. In Ireland. The first part are the penal laws, enacted under Elizabeth’s reign. Yeah, I adapted the one about the car. It is actually they couldn’t own a horse worth more than 5 pounds, even if they raised it. If a Catholic had a horse worth more than 5 pounds, it was gone, or they were dead. Several of them got dead. They were forbidden to speak Gaelic or to teach their children their heritage, or traditional manner of dress. Hedge row schools sprang up for those that could afford them, but since no money for books, lessons were mostly taught orally. There was also a little game called “surrender and re-grant”. You have to give up your land, if you swear allegiance to Obama, oops I meant Elizabeth, you get to manage your own land, and it was suppose to be granted back to you. The “civilian security force”? The black and tans. Mostly English veterans from the war come to help out the Royal Irish Constabulary. Ok, they aren’t “civilians” but the point was they pretty much behaved in any undisciplined fashion they wished and were not subject to the regular rules of the military. In fact the King was horrified at some of the atrocities of the Black and Tans and the Auxiliaries or Auxies during the Irish War of Independence. The Irish persevered, and eventually gained some freedom from England.

Kind of ironic isn’t it? What the English did to the Irish to keep them in line, and now England is or has been taken over by muslims on their own shores. Down through the years, the Irish had made different attempts to gain their freedom from a tyrannical government, with different groups. They kept trying and trying. One of the reasons they were forbidden from owning arms. The sad thing is with all the talk of reviving the “fairness or censorship” doctrine, various gun ban bills being floated around, the stimulus package wrought only God knows what disastrous results for our country, you have to suspect that more restrictive laws will be put in place to keep the subjects in line. The good part for us is, if the sheepdogs among us are starting to stir, we are miles ahead of where the Irish started out. We ARE still allowed to go to the Capitol and talk to our legislators; we ARE allowed to vote and have a voice. This will only work if we USE those things. To sit around and “talk” about “from my cold dead hands” is just pure bunk. Talk is cheap. The Irish didn’t win any bit of their independence by sitting around the pubs and talking, it was action. We need to get moving, and it needs to be now! Elections are this year, we can’t afford any more RINOs, squishy Repubs, and there are very few Dems I think would be a good bet. Because we are betting our freedom!

And Starring Barry Sotero in “Clueless”

Well, it seems little Barry has a long and proud history of setting up nations to be easy to invade or be conquered. The Daily Mail (British, the American Press would never point this out) has an interesting article. Seems little Barry, after being in office for a whole SEVEN MONTHS flew with his good buddy Dick Luger to the Ukraine. They toured a ammo dump, mostly supplies left by the Soviets, when they pulled out. The US senators (not content to merely work on US gun control) spent $48 million US taxpayer dollars to destroy the weapons and ammo, rather than just leaving things alone. The Ukraine exported a lot of the small arms, but most of the ammunition, necessary for keeping a standing army supplied were destroyed. I wonder if that’s anything like why normal American citizens have a hard time finding ammunition? The Mail reported that many of the shells shown in the photos would have been the kind that would be needed to keep the advancing Russians at bay, were no longer available to use, thanks to Barry & Dick.

U.S. intervention? HA! Barry has so decimated the American military that there is no way we could help, and in my opinion, Barry wouldn’t anyway. Didn’t he promise Putin he would be more “flexible” in his second term? He knows if he goes up against Putin he will need to be “flexible” enough to bend over and kiss his butt goodbye. Which wouldn’t bother me that much, except I have a feeling a few U.S. citizens or military would be kissing theirs goodbye too. Barry & John Kerry seem SHOCKED, SHOCKED I say that Putin isn’t even worrying about Barry’s phone calls. In fact, as I read it, he pretty much told Barry how the cow ate the cabbage on the last one.

An American in the Ukraine training their troops talks about how much they want to be free. They are willing to go up against a force that is better armed (thanks to Barry & Dick and the American Taxpayers) better trained and more of them, so that their children might have the chance to be free. The American figures about the only help the Ukrainians might get is from the Poles. He states that they have a long, proud military history. Reminds me of the book, Mila 18, by Leon Uris. Mila 18 took place during WWII, mostly in the Warsaw Ghetto. Hitler moved in stating he had to protect the ethnic Germans in the area that were being “mistreated”. And, Putin taking a page, is claiming the same, that he has to move in to protect the ethnic Russians.

Debkafile has pointed out Putin is not afraid of Barry, he knows when it comes to foreign policy (domestic policy, monetary policy, Constitutional Policy, etc) he is a “Clueless” twit, who has surrounded himself with clueless twits to keep him company.

The Ukrainians, like the Americans will pay dearly for the day Barry set foot on their soil. Who pays the highest has yet to be determined.

Possibly the last actual journalist of the dinosaur media has left the field. Sharyl Attkisson has resigned from SeeBS (CBS) news (harumph, choke, chuckle). Sharyl was an investigative journalist, meaning back in the old days, before obama, when there was a story (that was happening, an event, scandal, wrong-doing) there was something called the “media” or “The Fourth Estate”. The media would pursue the story and tell it to it’s viewers or readers, and inform them of the circumstances of the event. They would actually report the news. Back in 2008 I heard Sean Hannity had said that 2008 would become known as “The year journalism died”. If he did say it, he was correct. The media covered up anything that could have been harmful to obama and his election chances, and played up how well he was loved around the world. Someone pointed out in a poll, the majority of the world wanted to see a weaker America. Now that they have their wish, America is weaker, and the rest of the world I believe is more unstable, I wonder if they are liking it quite as much as they thought they would?

So, back to Sharyl, she went after the Bush administration tooth and nail, and everyone loved her. She had been at SeeBS for 20 years, was very well respected. She had a reputation as an honest journalist who would not back down, would not quit or let go of an issue until she reached the answers. But when it came to the obama regime, Benghazi, green energy and other scandals, well then…..THAT was “attacking” and agenda driven. SeeBS began to refuse to air some of her stories. Oh yes, we have such people now, they are called “Bloggers”. They do the job the media won’t do, because they are too busy kicking kitty litter over obama poo.

I first became aware of Sharyl when two bloggers David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh had been talking about a little kerfluffle called “Operation Gunwalker”. Sharyl became involved and began reporting on the wrong doing of the obama administration’s Department of INJustice. And she stuck with it, her computers were hacked. Another case of the federal government going after an individual. Intimidation, it’s the Chicago way, right? She just reported the news, she told the people the truth and let them make up their own minds.

Now let’s shift to sarahcuda…Sarah Palin. Sarah got SO much right in that 2008 campaign. Death panels in obamacare? They scoffed, made fun of her, but, there they are. Anyone with half a brain that thought about it would have known there would have to be. Some fools even thought a line uttered on a show about seeing Russia from her house was said by Sarah. It wasn’t. For the record, you CAN sometimes see Russia from Alaska. The GOP base, actual people, actual conservatives, as opposed to the GOP establishment, went wild for Sarah. She told it like it was, and still does. She has a moral compass, a sense of right and wrong and openly loves America. She scare the pee out of the good old boys network at the GOP. They wanted her shut down. More than once McCain’s people threw her under the bus. But the conservative base loved her, she spoke the truth to them, as though they were citizens. Not children to be fooled, or innocents that couldn’t handle the truth, she told them how it was. Then they could make their decisions on what they wanted to do based on all the information. You know lying is lying by giving false information, I believe there is also lying by withholding information. Lies of omission, aren’t they? Sarah wanted to go after the obama/biden ticket on some different issues and she was told to leave it alone, by McCain’s people! What the heck? Her instincts were far better than his! And yet she would be blamed for the loss of the GOP. She was the only thing that had kept it viable!

So, what’s the deal here? Why is it when people, in this case two smart, strong, savvy women stand up and tell the simple truth, they have to be shut down. Why don’t liberals (of either party) support women, like they claim to? Is it because their idea of support is to keep women dependent upon liberals, rather than just giving them honest information and letting them make informed decisions? The establishment, be it political, or any other, can not stand to have a light shone on the cockroaches that abide there. When people do, the establishment tries it’s best to shut them down. I like what Sarah’s father said after the campaign. “She’s not retreating, she’s reloading”. I hope Sharyl will reload too!

I haven’t had much time over the last few years to just read books I would like to. I tended to read more books I need to read. But as I’ve been shifting into another gear in life, waiting to see where God leads me, I’ve decided to turn over a new leaf. Yeah, it was a little tiny joke, new leaf? Get it leaf? Book page? Oh, forget it, if I have to explain it, it wasn’t that good. So a friend of mine who is blogging from Israel right now told me about this book she had purchased and thought I might like it as well. I do, and did. Yes, I finished it.

Considering what all is going on in the world right now, it’s interesting reading. It would be at any time I think, the world is so much less stable now due to an inept President, or perhaps he is just bent on bringing the United States to it’s knees. He uses the intelligence resources of America to spy on it’s own citizens. The Israeli’s tend to use theirs to fight the foes that want to destroy their country and the West. Although I wouldn’t swear Bibi hasn’t reconsidered that of late.

I have a Tee-shirt that says “Don’t Worry America, Israel has your back”. It seems it really has.

I’ll just give you a little bit of the opening. I’m sure you knew this from the main stream media (yeah, I crack myself up too).

On November 12, 2011, a tremendous explosion destroyed a secret missile base close to Tehran, killing seventeen Revolutionary Guards and reducing dozens of missiles to a heap of charred iron. This was a fascinating book. The authors don’t claim that the Mossad always gets it right. They give some examples of missions that have gone horribly awry. But they get a lot more right than they get wrong. Some well know missions such as Operation Thunderbolt in which Lt. Col. Yonatan Netanyahu (older brother of Bibi) was killed are detailed, as well as many others that had remained unknown. It’s a hard book to put down! If you read it, let me know what you think.

But, What if there IS a Fire?

I know I’ve heard it said that the first one that starts calling someone a nazi lost the argument. It’s sort of like calling someone a racist these days. It’s done to shut down discussion. You aren’t suppose to yell “FIRE” in a crowded theater either, unless there really IS a fire. Now goodness knows, when George W. Bush was President, the left called him a nazi, did photos with the little hitler mustache, but THAT was different. Because then it was “free speech”. Because it was Bush, it doesn’t have to make sense, it’s progressives. Now, if you disagree on an ISSUE with barry, nothing against him, but the ISSUE, now that’s racist. It doesn’t have to make sense, it’s progressives.

So back to “nazis” and yelling “fire”. I didn’t live through WWII, I didn’t see it happen, and I didn’t see the aftermath. Even if I had, it would have been from a Stateside American’s point of view, meaning while I saw pictures of bodies and trenches and concentration camps, I didn’t see THEM. While I attended public school, and made good grades in history, I didn’t LIVE it. So my, as I suspect most people’s view’s, are formed by my education (or lack of) what I’ve learned on my own by reading and talking to people, or listening to what people have to say about a subject through different venues.

First up, we have Kitty Werthmann, she is a survivor of Austria under hitler. Here is what Kitty had to say about firearms: We also had gun registration. The Austrian people all had guns, but the government said, “guns are very dangerous. Children are playing with guns. Hunting accidents happen and we really have to have total control – safety. We have to trace criminals and the only way is by the serial number of the gun.” We dutifully went to the police station and we registered guns.

Not long after registering our guns, they said “no, it didn’t help. The only way we can prevent accidents and crimes is for you to turn-in your guns at the police station, and then we won’t have any crimes or any accidents.” If you didn’t turn in your guns – capital punishment. The left hates her. They can’t argue with the facts of her story, nor what she experienced, so they prefer to point out that she is totally off her rocker to say that she sees the same conditions arising here.

Next we have Irma. Irma was a caller to the Buck Sexton radio show on The Blaze (Glen Beck’s network). Irma lives in Massachusetts today, but she was born in 1930 under German fascism. It doesn’t matter much what you think about Glen Beck (personally, I like him) Irma was a call in, not a scheduled guest speaker on the show. She talked about how her Father fought tyranny all his life, and the price he paid for it. She talked about conditions in Germany under hitler and how she sees the same conditions and circumstances arising in this county. She lamented her lack of involvement and not speaking out sooner. At 84 she is attempting to rectify the situation, she points out, there is no place left to go. Lastly we have a lady that was a patient of mine at a hospital I worked at. I will call her Hilga. Hilga was a concentration camp survivor. She seldom, ok, only once, talked about it. We had a discussion once about guns. I don’t even remember what brought it up, but she remarked that “guns scare me”. I said I wasn’t surprised, that it isn’t the gun that is the enemy. The gun is an inanimate object, a piece of metal with no will or mind of it’s own. It’s the hand the gun is held in that will determine if it is used for good or evil! I asked her, if more Jews had been armed, what do you think would have happened? Do you really think adults would have let their families be drug off to concentration camps? I told her I really didn’t think so, the only reason they could so easily do what they did, was the lack of armed resistance. She seemed skeptical. One day she cornered me in the locker room, she was upset and agitated. She came to her point quickly “I left Germany to get away from this crap (she used another word) and now I see it happening here! The same things I saw over there, I’m now seeing happen over here! Where am I suppose to go now? What am I suppose to do now?” She is afraid to speak out, leftover no doubt from her experience. Other than the IRS, DOJ, NSA, progressives targeting someONE who they disagree with (really? Ask Phil Robertson) what possible reason could she have to be afraid? There wasn’t much I could say to her, I told her I didn’t see that easily happening here, many American citizens are armed. Did she think we would allow our Jewish neighbors, or friends, or ANY neighbors or friends to be easily hauled off by the government? She looked at me dubiously. I told her as long as we remained armed, it wouldn’t happen. I said now, when they do go for the guns, look for things to happen very, very quickly.

It involved Gun Owners in Connecticut lining up to register their legally owned firearms. The photo on FaceBook showed it above a photo of Gun Owners in Weimar Germany….I’m guessing they know what they’re talking about.

There is that normalcy bias problem, people don’t want to see what is coming based on what is happening NOW. The see the signs, but it doesn’t mean here what it meant when it showed up in other countries.

Our elected officials are doing what about it? Crickets?? Well, no, Wrong Way jay nixon is following in the imperial barry’s footsteps and using executive orders to defy the will of the people.

Remember I said there is more than one way to get legislators who WILL listen to the governed? Well, it seems jolly old England has their very own version of the Tea Party, only it’s not a faction of the previously conservative party. It’s a new, separate party. Listen to this: Cameron has radically overhauled the “Tories,” embracing nationalized health care, fighting for gay marriage, and changing the party logo from the flame of liberty to an environmentally conscious tree. This, UKIP argues, makes them indistinguishable from the left-wing Labour Party and Liberal Democrats.

It is here where UKIP spied an opportunity, adopting an anti-establishment, populist platform that argues for lower taxation, smaller government and getting Britain out of the European Union.

The message is proving effective. UKIP look likely to make significant inroads in the next general election in 2015, possibly snatching seats away from the main parties. And that’s only a snippet! For a Safe and Controlled America

One of the things that just really concerns me, and makes me angry is the government’s move deeper into the “Big Brother” role. All this new spying on citizens technology. People say “well, if you aren’t doing anything wrong, then why worry”? Well, for one, I like my privacy. For two, and more importantly because we have a government that in very invested in making more and more everyday things illegal. There is now legislation to make using wood to heat your home illegal on the table. Who would have ever thought they would see the day when 32 oz. drinks were illegal. No, not alcoholic, SODA POP for goodness sake! PARENTS have been fined for what they sent with their children to eat for lunch. People need to think about what can become illegal in the future.

Our congress critters (including my own Representative and Senators) seem completely clueless when it comes to NSA spying. Our Senators voted that it was fine to use drones to spy on American citizens. No, not suspects, just any citizen. My Representative sent out a email crowing about how the NSA will keep us safe from terrorism and that Edward Snowden was a traitor. Maybe to her, not to MANY Americans who are grateful to find out how their government has been using the money they confiscated from their subjects. I don’t think she (the Representative) grasps that the “terrorists” that she is so happy that the NSA will find are HER usual campaign donors. Or in my case, former donor. The kind of people that worked on and donated to her campaign are the kind of people the NSA and IRS consider “terrorists”.

Yep, both sides of the aisle are now bi-partisan in selling out average Americans. Oh yea for bi-partisanship, right?

I think the ACLU is a communist (they don’t get capital letters) organization, but I think they got this one right! Remember in Missouri, Oklahoma and who knows how many other states Concealed Carry holders have had their data, including a biometric photo turned over to the government data base run by MorphoTrust, a French company in Georgia. Well, as well as the SSA and BATFE. Once they have it, what they do with it is up to them, isn’t it?
